Meghan Offtermatt

Meghan Offtermatt has worked in the service industry for 15 years, 12 of those years in New York City. Although she has worked as a manager, host, delivery worker, server and bartender, Meghan has spent the pandemic working as a manager and bartender at her long-time service industry job. She has worked at the same restaurant for 8 years because of their ethical treatment of employees before and during the pandemic. She is currently studying at Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism, where she is pursuing audio journalism with a focus on climate, energy and the environment. She is also the host of How to Save the World Podcast.
