Mary Myers holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College and a minor in photography from Emerson College in Boston. Currently, she teaches middle-school English in the Boston area. Her short story, “Let it Down,” was published recently in Literary Yard. Last August, she was a runner-up at the London Photo Festival. Her first job was at McDonald’s where she was lovingly known as “the fry girl.” She has washed dishes at a nursing home, bartended for a dinner theatre, worked as a barista in the FBI building in San Francisco, and was a bus girl at a ski-lodge.
