Jim Strahle cartoons have appeared in numerous magazines and publications such as Highlights for Children, Soap Opera Digest and many newspapers. Unfortunately, like so many cartoonists, the comics were a sideline. Over the years he has published over 1600 cartoons and five cartoon books in print and in digital versions. His first job was at McDonalds, while in high school. People often mispronounced his name so when he started his cartoon strip he wanted name to rhyme to help with his, thus Straylee’s Bailiwick was begun. It was just so-so helpful. He was once introduced as the creator of Strawls Bawliwick.
