Chryss Yost is co-editor of Gunpowder Press, an independent poetry publisher based in Santa Barbara, California. Working at The Upstart Crow in San Diego back in the 80s cemented her love of both bookstores and restaurants. Yost (rhymes with ghost) hosts haunted dinner parties with her husband, poet and food writer George Yatchisin.
