Naoise McGuinness is an Irish writer based in Cork City, Ireland. She holds a Master in Creative Writing as a Miriam Cotter Scholar and a Bachelor degree in French. Her publications can be found in World Wide Napier, the Cork Evening Echo, and Cork Words Anthology 3, and she was recently the author of the short film 'Hyphen' which was screened at the 67th Cork International Film Festival. Naoise has spent seven years working her way up through hospitality, mostly through mixology and hostessing across a range of upscale establishments. This work of auto-fiction is just one of the many sides of the industry she has experienced.
