Max French has been in restaurant management for nearly fifteen years - at his best he's been responsible for feeding hungry people, at his worst he's been spit on and threatened with a cane. In what little spare time he has between his job and three kids, Max writes poetry and short stories. Artistically speaking, Max tries to find the fantastical amongst the mundane, and the joke within the tragedy.
