Derek Maiolo

Derek Maiolo is a writer and MFA candidate at Chatham University. He enjoys crafting stories inspired by his time as a bakery cashier and barista. A Colorado native, his work appears or is forthcoming in High Country News, The Denver Post, and The Aspen Times. He lives with his boyfriend in Pittsburgh, where he continues to bake sourdough bread and brew delicious coffee.
