Yarden Tsfoni is an Israeli archaeologist and artist from the town of Modi'in. She is currently based in the USA and the Netherlands. Her artwork focuses on the built world and the humans who occupy these spaces daily. Her deep understanding of material culture and its reflection of the human experience, expression, and emotion find its way to the canvas as it does to the history page. Yarden has held many jobs in the hospitality industry, which have included mishaps with scooping ice cream, seating disgruntled customers, and greeting them with a tired, mostly genuine smile.
